YOUR VIEWS
Faculty and Institute members, who were eligible to vote and for whom the Profession held an email address, were recently invited to take part in an online survey about the factors that influenced their voting behaviour in the July 2009 merger vote.
Of 9,235 members who were sent an invitation, 2,878 responded.
We have shown the responses split by voting behaviour and membership body as we found this was the most useful way to consider the results. For the responses to questions 5 and 6 we have grouped those who were not eligible with those who chose not to vote as their numbers were small, and the pattern of responses was similar.
