SURVEY OF NAMES
All Faculty and Institute members, and students were invited to take part in a survey of names for a possible merged body.
Of the 20,326 invitations sent by email and post in November and December 2009, 4,298 responses were received, comprising 3,546 from the Institute, 726 from the Faculty and 26 from both.
The results are presented for individual bodies, whole membership and eligible voting members (comprising Faculty Associates, Faculty Fellows, Faculty Honorary Fellows, Institute Associates and Institute Fellows).
